Nathan has been teaching guitar in Farnham, Surrey for almost ten years. Teaching all abilities and ages.
His private teaching experience covers individual and small group lessons, whilst also teaching peripatetically in a number of schools in Berkshire. He has also helped to run band workshops and multi-instrumental sessions for a youth club.
He has prepared students for GCSE music exams, with great results, and has many students working towards RockSchool and Trinity grades.
Nathan often works on Duke Of Edinburgh skill sections with students, how he himself got started on guitar.
Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced guitarist, looking to improve on technique, general musicianship, composition, improvisation or theory, or perhaps you’re interested in working on a new genre of music, lessons will be tailored to your needs to give you the best learning experience with your instrument.
Most lessons are on an individual basis, however small group lessons are offered to those that would like to learn alongside a family member or friend. Perhaps you would like to work on some songs and live performance ideas with a bandmate.
Besides Guitar, Bass Guitar and Music Theory, Nathan also has experience as a live sound technician and with music technology, home recording, editing and production and live performance. His experience of which can be drawn on in lessons.
